These are one of the first view you see travelling from Edmonton to Jasper National Park. The landscape is more “wild” than Banff National Park, and the probability to see animals is high.
I stayed at a HI hostel located about 7 km outside of Jasper town. Waiting for the shuttle to take me there you can see my very advanced backpack and my less advanced handbag… Slightly inconvenient to bring a handbag to the mountains but at least I did not go hiking with it.
