Switzerland Unlimited

Some more pictures from the great weekend we spent in the mountains.
Fell in love with the most adorable cat... too bad I could not bring it with me to Zürich!

Summer Time

Took advantage of the perfect weather and went hiking in Unterwasser. 32 degrees and clear blue sky, not much more to ask for (maybe a lake to swim in). We did not get very far but stopped for a picnic under a tree and enjoyed the stunning view.

Today we were invited for a barbeque close to the lake Türlersee, where we also took the first dip for the season. The summer is finally here!

Welcome to Switzerland

People marry relatively late; they concentrate on their training and career before they start a family. Swiss women are among the oldest in Europe at the birth of their first child.
The majority of couples have only 1 or 2 children. In 2004 the average number of children per woman was 1.42, less than the EU average of 1.5. The world average is 2.65.
Surveys have shown that parents put financial difficulties as the main reason for restricting family size. Large flats are expensive, and there is a shortage of affordable child care.

The Comeback

And suddenly is the urge to write and express myself back.  It comes when I let go of mjukisbyxorna and leave Sweden.

Had an interesting trip to Zürich in an easyjet operated plan, with kind man with Parkinson on my side offering oreo cookies, making me realize so many things I cannot put down in words.

Life is a short trip.
Almost immediately became an incarnated Swiss, after landing and purchasing my halbtax, finding out that my information was still in the Schweizerische Bundesbahnen’s database. They like “Ordnung” here.  And I am welcomed back.
