In a few hours I will be on the greyhound (hopefully) on my way to a new adventure. This will cost me a 10 hour trip via Edmonton through the sleeping Alberta. When I told my boss I was going to Jasper alone – she asked me if I am insane. I said I have recently seen insanity, and I am sure that is not my main reason for going.
It’s the adrenaline you get from never knowing exactly how beautiful the place will be when you are – more than the knowledge that it will be beautiful. Is the adrenaline I get from discovering new places and being able to capture it with my loving camera forever. It’s the passion of travelling.
And what we recently learned is that life can change quickly – so I will grab my last opportunity to go as far away from Calgary and into the Rockies, even if this means I am going alone.
So while my friends a grabbing a drink to celebrate the long weekend here in Canada, I am grabbing a taxi out to the greyhound station.
